ROOMDIVIDER – Interactive visuals
Overview
An interactive visual show developed for post-rock band ROOMDIVIDER, commissioned by UNWRAP in 2025.
The project explored how a real-time visual system could become part of the band's performance rather than a separately operated visual layer. Using MIDI drum triggers, guitar-to-MIDI and pedalboard actions, the band controls and influences the visuals directly while performing. The system was designed to travel with ROOMDIVIDER and operate independently from our production team, with the interaction and control workflow built around the band's existing performance setup rather than requiring a dedicated visual operator.
I set out to create a noisy, grungy and low-fidelity art style at the band's request.
